PDFs are a popular document format, but when it comes to embedding them into emails, things can get a little tricky. Although you can’t technically embed a PDF into an email like you would with Adobe Acrobat, there are alternative methods that can work just as well, if not better. In this article, we will explore the best ways to embed PDFs into emails and make your communication more effective.
Embed as a Link
One way to incorporate a PDF into your email is by uploading it to a cloud storage platform like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Instead of attaching the PDF file, you can simply send a link to it. Additionally, if you want to enhance your PDF, you can convert it into a flipbook, which is an interactive digital document with various benefits. Flipbooks can be customized, branded, and enriched with videos, GIFs, and links. They can also provide insights into how people interact with them. By embedding a flipbook link into your email, you can offer a more seamless and engaging experience.
Embed as an Image
To make your email marketing campaigns more successful, consider embedding your flipbook as an image. Instead of sending a plain PDF, a flipbook preview can capture your readers’ attention and deliver a refreshing reading experience. You can take a screenshot of the first page of your flipbook and insert it into your email. If possible, collaborate with your design team to enhance the screenshot or create a unique preview. This approach adds visual appeal and entices recipients to open and explore the flipbook.
#Embed as a GIF
For an even more captivating effect, you can opt for a GIF preview instead of a static image. Even a simple animation, such as a smooth page flip effect, can make a significant difference in grabbing your audience’s attention. Create a GIF showcasing your flipbook’s unique features and include it alongside the link in your email. This dynamic element will make your flipbook stand out and increase the likelihood of it being opened and read.
