About The Song
“I’ll Never Fall In Love Again” is a song originally written by Lonnie Donegan and Jimmy Currie in 1962.
However, it is often associated with Elvis Presley, who recorded a version of the song in 1976.
Recorded in the “Jungle Room” and included as the final song on the album “From Elvis Presley Boulevard Memphis, Tennessee” (1976). Elvis struggles to keep this one together at times vocally, as just some unbelieveable emotion is transmitted to the listener. It seems at times, Elvis is about to start actually crying and at other points he shouts the lyrics. They said people present at his recordings of “Are You Lonesome Tonight” and “How Great Thou Art” were moved to tears, and I can imagine the ones present for this recording were too. “Hurt” opened this album and it is was emotional, this song closed it and it is gut-wrenching.

🎵 Let’s sing along with the lyrics! 🎤
I’ve been in love so many times
I thought I knew the score Now you treated me so wrong I can’t take anymore
And it looks like I’m never gonna fall in love again
Fall in love I’m never gonna fall in love I mean it, I mean it Fall in love again
I gave my heart so easily Cast aside my pride When I saw you in his arms, baby I broke up and cried
And it looks like I’m never gonna fall in love again That’s what I’m sayin’
Fall in love No, I’m never gonna fall in love Please, don’t make me Fall in love again
That’s what I’m- (fall in love) No, I’m never gonna fall in love Please, don’t make me, don’t make me Fall in love again
